24 Hour Walk-a-thon

Raharney Hurling & Camogie Clubs 24-Hour Walkathon Fundraiser

Join us for an exciting 24-Hour Walkathon in support of Raharney Hurling and Camogie Clubs as we raise funds for upcoming projects in Joristown Park!

In the next 2 years, the clubs plan to install flood lights on the main pitch and also a floodlit astro with an integrated hurling wall. As a result, extra parking needs to be developed. With sports capital grants in place, there is a gap of €80,000 which the club intends to make up with fundraising.

🗓 Date: April 4th–5th, 2025
⏰ Time: 5 PM (April 4th) – 5 PM (April 5th)
📍 Location: Joristown Park
🎉 Community Social Evening: April 5th

How It Works

  • 24 teams will compete to raise the most funds, with fundraising running from February 14th to April 3rd.
  • The top fundraising team gets the first pick of their preferred walking time slot!
  • The walkathon will run continuously for 24 hours, with teams taking turns on the track.
  • The event will conclude with a fun-filled community social evening to celebrate everyone’s efforts!
